Their adventure begins in Alta, situated in Finnmark, the northernmost county of Norway, where they meet Johnny Trasti, a celebrated Sami chef. Together with his wife, he has created a remarkable restaurant and accommodations along the legendary Alta River, known for its exclusive salmon fishing.
Throughout the series, viewers are taken on a captivating journey, exploring the indigenous cultures of the North as the team travels through the Sami territories. They visit fishing villages such as Kjollefjord and Soeroya, each with its own unique story. The awe-inspiring beauty of Lofoten is also showcased.
