ENVIRONMENTAL AND ETHICAL COMMITMENT

VGAN recognizes the detrimental effects of conventional chocolate production, including deforestation and habitat loss, and aims to counteract these with vegan and organic alternatives. These alternatives not only reduce environmental impact but also support natural farming practices that preserve biodiversity.

In line with the EU Green Deal’s strategy “From Farm to Fork” VGAN also wants to secure a sustainable livelihood for primary producers and social rights for workers in the supply chain. This is our main focus outside of creating the most delicious sweets available.

CONCRETE ACTIONS FOR SUSTAINABLE CHANGE

VGAN is committed to tangible improvements rather than superficial changes. The focus extends beyond mere packaging alterations to fundamental shifts in agricultural practices, processing, and transportation, aiming for a comprehensive reduction in the carbon footprint.

ANIMAL WELFARE

VGAN's vegan chocolate production model eliminates the need for animal-derived ingredients, thus promoting animal welfare.

Collaborations with organizations like Mercy For Animals and AURORA highlight VGAN's dedication to ethical practices and plant-based alternatives.

PROMOTING HEALTH AND MODERATION

While VGAN doesn't overly emphasize the health benefits of our chocolate, we do acknowledge the advantages of consuming vegan chocolate, which is free from cholesterol and saturated fats.

We advocate for a balanced approach to indulgence, complemented by an active lifestyle.

VGAN chocolates may have started out in a Norway, but now we're spreading into the US and have awesome online and in-store retailers that stock our vegan chocolates! If your favorite retailer doesn’t stock us, ask them until they do!
